Innovation Social
INNOVATION-SOCIAL drives a cross-border network of Social Innovation Centers in Spain and Portugal to improve access to quality employment, promote labor inclusion and foster entrepreneurship and local economy.
INNOVATION-SOCIAL —Cross-border network of Spanish and Portuguese social innovation centers— is a project that promotes the creation of a network of centers that share resources, knowledge, training and experiences to respond to the needs of the border territory. Through collaboration with institutions, universities, social organizations and businesses, it seeks to develop joint initiatives that facilitate access to quality employment, promote more inclusive labor markets and boost the local economy.
It is part of Interreg, a European Union initiative that supports cooperation between territories in different countries to address common challenges and develop shared solutions. Specifically, INNOVATION-SOCIAL is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the Interreg VI-A Spain–Portugal Program (POCTEP) 2021–2027.
