Oficina de la Raya

The Oficina de la Raya, part of the Social and Territorial Innovation Centre La Estrella Salamanca–Ciudad Rodrigo, works to support economic activity and entrepreneurship in the districts of Ciudad Rodrigo and Vitigudino. Its work is based on direct contact with the territory: listening, identifying needs and opportunities, and offering guidance so that initiatives can move forward.

The Office supports both the first steps of an idea and the implementation and consolidation of a business. It provides information on grants, subsidies and other forms of financing, guides on available resources and facilitates connections with spaces, suppliers and potential collaborators. It also supports generational handover and business continuity, fostering contact between those who wish to continue their activity and those seeking an opportunity to start a business.

Each initiative receives tailored support based on its needs, from initial diagnosis and definition of next steps to monitoring its launch. This work is carried out in coordination with municipalities, agents and entities in the territory, with special attention to female entrepreneurship and cross-border cooperation with Portugal. The aim is for ideas to find support to become defined, viable projects connected with their environment.

Currently, the Oficina de la Raya is located in the facilities of the Fundación Ciudad Rodrigo 2006, at Plaza de Herrasti, 3, 37500 Ciudad Rodrigo (Salamanca). In addition to in-person support, it offers remote assistance, so that anyone interested can make enquiries and receive guidance without the need to travel.
