The Days were a unique occasion to remember and highlight the historical role that the town played in the defence of Spain. During the event, Marcos Iglesias, one of the main speakers, stressed the importance of these days to “bring visibility to the military past of Ciudad Rodrigo”, and pointed out that the town has been characterised throughout its history by its loyalty and firmness in the defence of the country.
