The XXVI Bullfighting Conference of Castilla y León was held at Hotel Conde Rodrigo II, an initiative promoted by the Consejería de Cultura, Turismo y Deporte of the Junta de Castilla y León.
This annual gathering, conceived as a space for “reflection and debate”, was opened by the mayor of Ciudad Rodrigo, Marcos Iglesias. The Bullfighting Conference brought together experts, professionals from the bullfighting world and enthusiasts to address, from different perspectives, the situation and evolution of bullfighting in Castilla y León, a cultural tradition deeply rooted in the community.
The programme continued with talks, round tables and parallel activities that will allow for further analysis of the role of bullfighting from a cultural, economic and social point of view.
