The president of Design for Change España, Miguel Luengo, travelled to Ciudad Rodrigo to work with the young representatives from the Misioneras de la Providencia school.

The day began with an activity in which each person shared their name, a favourite moment from the previous week and their mood, using as support a colourful mural entitled “Mood Meter”.

During the sharing of the progress made, different proposals for both outdoor and indoor games were presented, highlighting the creativity and collaborative work of the secondary school students, who delivered two thorough and visual presentations.

One of the most meaningful moments was the activity called “the flying carpet”, which allowed participants to experience first-hand the importance of teamwork and communication for collective success.

The session continued with a key question: What shall we call the day you have designed? A brainstorming exercise gave rise to concepts such as: fun, older people, city, valuing, discovering, innovating, entertainment, together, groups and learning.
