The mayor of Ciudad Rodrigo, Marcos Iglesias, together with the Social Innovation agent, Julio Nager, held a meeting with the rector of the Universidad de Salamanca, Juan Manuel Corchado, with the aim of strengthening collaboration in driving forward the future Centro de Innovación Social para el Desarrollo Local Sostenible (CIS) of Ciudad Rodrigo.
Marcos Iglesias highlighted that the CIS will be located in the former health centre on Avenida Agustín de Foxá, in Ciudad Rodrigo, and that it will be a driving force for the strategic and innovative projects developed in the area
