The Official Gazette of Castilla y León (BOCYL) has published the regulatory framework for grants aimed at entrepreneurs within the scope of the Socioeconomic Plan for La Raya, an initiative driven by the Junta de Castilla y León to foster economic development in the border areas with Portugal.
These grants may reach a maximum amount of €15,000 per beneficiary and are intended to support the launch or consolidation of business projects in this territory, thereby promoting employment and helping to keep people in rural areas.
Applications will be approved provided they meet the requirements set out in the published order and as long as adequate and sufficient funding is available. The maximum period for resolution and notification will be six months from the submission of the application.
With this measure, the Junta de Castilla y León reinforces its commitment to the development of the most depopulated areas and to boosting the entrepreneurial fabric in rural settings.
