Who is it aimed at?

• Entrepreneurs, startups and social organisations with an idea or project capable of generating a positive social or environmental impact.

• Participants may come from anywhere, as long as they are willing to develop their initiative in the western territory of the province of Salamanca, which includes 57 municipalities in the districts of Ciudad Rodrigo, Vitigudino and Sierra de Francia.

What does the programme offer you?

• Hybrid training (online and in-person) based on the Design Thinking methodology.

• Mentoring and personalised advice on strategic planning, economic sustainability, communication and financing.

• Support for launching the project, including guidance on grants and subsidies.

• Certified training worth 2 ECTS credits.

PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAMME IS 100% FREE OF CHARGE.

The «La Estrella» Social Innovation Centre is driven by the Fundación Ciudad Rodrigo. The aim of this call is to support ideas and projects with a positive social and environmental impact in the western territory of the province of Salamanca. The call will select up to 20 initiatives promoted by entrepreneurs, startups or social organisations. The selected proposals will take part in a specialised incubation programme aimed at turning ideas with social impact into viable, sustainable projects capable of generating development in the districts of Ciudad Rodrigo, Vitigudino and Sierra de Francia.

The application period is open until Tuesday, 30 June 2026.

The incubator is part of the project «Social and digital innovation as a response to depopulation», driven by the Fundación Ciudad Rodrigo and funded by the “la Caixa” Foundation (75%), with financial support from ADECOCIR and ADEZOS. The Diputación de Salamanca, the Ayuntamiento de Ciudad Rodrigo, AFECIR, Cruz Roja Salamanca and the ASPRODES Group are also collaborating.
