The delegate for Castilla y León of the ”la Caixa” Foundation, Araceli Gutiérrez, visited Ciudad Rodrigo this morning to follow up on the Project “Social and Digital Innovation as a Response to Depopulation“.
During her visit, she held a meeting with Julio Nager, project manager on behalf of the Diputación de Salamanca; the communications office of the Ayuntamiento de Ciudad Rodrigo; and representatives of the Fundación Ciudad Rodrigo 2006, an entity that supports the development of this initiative.
The meeting took place in a climate of institutional collaboration and provided an opportunity to update the status of the project, share the progress achieved, and coordinate upcoming actions. The meeting proved especially valuable in conveying to the Foundation the progress of the work currently underway.
The delegate expressed a positive assessment of the project's progress, which is currently in its second phase, consolidating its implementation in the territory.
The CIS Ciudad Rodrigo continues working to promote social innovation and digitalisation as key tools to strengthen the development of the region and help retain population.
