The Picón island was the starting venue for the activities organised in Ciudad Rodrigo to mark World Environment Day. The event, promoted by the town council's Youth, Education and Environmental Sustainability departments, was aimed at around fifty students from the San Francisco school.
The day allowed the students to take part in educational games focused on topics such as nature protection, responsible water use, recycling and other aspects related to caring for the environment.
